Multi Cultural Week

This week we have an exciting program of fantastic assemblies and activities to celebrate the cultural diversity of Australia and Mullum Primary School.

Monday 26th October

A special assembly celebrated the first Australians. Nayiyana and Watjerra proudly held up the aboriginal flag and explained the significance of the colours and an aboriginal greeting and song was given by their Aunty Zeta. A movie entitled 'If the World Were a Village' showed the students how each of the continents makes up the population of the world.

An Australian native tree was planted today by the Junior School Councillors. During the day, the children placed paper windmills, that whirl for peace, around the tree.
