At Mullum Primary we further develop our awareness of the Indigenous community by including in our curriculum Kooramook groups. Kooramook when translated to English means Possum Cloak Dreaming. Possum Skin Cloaks were considered an important trade item in pre-European times as they kept people warm and safe. At Mullum we value the important contribution that the Indigenous peoples had with the land.

This week in Kooramook we talked about one of our school values and the character strength we are focusing on this term - KINDNESS.

We brainstormed all the ways we could show kindness and created a whole school kindness garden display.
